Iron Rock's Race Training program is safe for ages five and up. Its curriculum covers all aspects of kart racing including focus, concentration, discipline and good sportsmanship. IRR professionals can take individuals from the purchase of their first kart and all their gear to competitive racing. First thing's first, take a "hands-on" driving school and slowly learn what it takes to be a real racer.
All Race Training must be scheduled, at least, 48 hrs in advance. Persons renting karts or training at Iron Rock are not required to pay Iron Rock membership fees. For more information, contact us today!
Training and Rental Fees
Kid Karts (Ages 5-7)
50cc, 2.5 Hp Comer engine/Birel Competition Chassis
Race Training: $200 per hour
Rental: $25 per 10-minute session - 30 minute minimum.
Driver must complete race training prior to rental.
Race Training: $350 per hour (Must Complete Rotax Training First)
Driver must complete race training prior to rental.
*Graduates of Kid Kart and Junior Kart Race Training program are eligible to rent those karts and participate in Kid Kart Afternoon on the last Sunday of the month. Call 512-530-RACE for more details.
